Listen as John talks about a piece of wisdom that he has learned and kept all through his business journey: The Four Agreements of Business.

NO 1. BE ABSOLUTELY IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD

Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using words that speaks against yourself or gossip about others. The power of your words must be in the direction of truth and love.

NO 2. DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY

Nothing that anybody else says or do is really about you. What people say and do is a projection of their own reality and their own dream and let’s face it, their own nightmare sometimes. And when you’re immune to the opinions and actions of others, you actually won’t be a victim of their needless suffering, or their suffering they’re trying to infect.

NO 3. DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS

We all heard the old saying of “Assume is made of ASS-U-ME”. Instead of making assumptions, find the courage to ask questions and express what you really want. Once you communicate with others as clearly as you possibly can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama, and with this one agreement by not assuming, you can completely transform your life.

NO 4. ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST

Your best is gonna change from moment to moment. It’s gonna be different as when you are healthy as opposed to when you were sick.  Under any circumstances simply do your best, and you’ll avoid self judgement, self abuse, and regret.

Give it some thought, replay it many times and see what you can do to implement these four agreements in business that will change your life personally and professionaly.

As a business coach I’d love showing wisdom and things that I’ve learned through my journey and from other people and Here’s some advice that I always keep. I don’t know who actually wrote it originally but I love it.

So the four Agreements of business.

Number 1. You must be absolutely impeccable with your word. You have to speak with integrity. You have to say only what you mean. And avoid using words, that speaks against yourself or gossip about others. The power of your words must be in the direction of truth and love.

Number 2. Don’t take anything personally. Why? Because nothing that anybody else can say or do is really about you. What people say and do is a projection of their own reality and their own dream and let’s face it, their own nightmare sometimes. And when you’re immune to the options – oh sorry the opinions, and actions of others, you actually won’t be a victim of their needless suffering, or their suffering they’re trying to infect.

Number 3. Don’t make Assumptions. Now, we all heard the old saying of “ Assume is made of ASS-U-ME” But, If you don’t make assumptions, I want you to find the courage to ask questions and express what you really want . Once you communicate with other’s clearly as you possibly can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. And with this one agreement by not assuming, you can completely transform your life.

Number 4. And the final point, is ALWAYS do your best. Your best is gonna change from moment to moment. It’s gonna be different, as when you are healthy as oppose when you were sick.  Under any circumstances simply do your best, and you’ll avoid self judgement, self abuse, and regret.
